Forven is now free and open source under AGPL-3.0-or-later.

What changed

  • Self-hosted from source: clone the repository and run the launcher — the whole stack runs on your own machine.
  • No account, no sign-up, no license key, and no paid tiers. Every feature is included, the AI agent layer too.
  • Bring your own keys: your model providers and exchange credentials stay on your machine.
  • Paper trading remains the supported mode. Live trading is unsupported and at your own risk.
