July 2026 — The explainable pipeline

Changes through July 31, 2026.

Research and the pipeline

  • The explainable pipeline. The pipeline board answers, for every strategy: why it's stuck, what evidence it has, what would unblock it, and what happens next. See the pipeline.
  • A research budget. Crucibles spend a shared daily development budget on the ideas with the highest expected value, with quotas for orthogonal data and for variants of your own survivors. See Crucibles.
  • Verdicts that know when they're stale. Engine-version and data-provenance stamps re-queue validation when metric or data semantics change.
  • Metric semantics v5. Sharpe and Sortino from per-bar equity returns, plus the deflated Sharpe ratio as a column in The Forge with an opt-in gate. See metrics.
  • Regime awareness. Regime stamps on every verdict, and a direction × regime gate with off, observe, and enforce modes. See market regimes.

Data

  • A Data Manager overhaul, a liquidity-ranked research universe with deep history, basis and implied-volatility streams, and full Kraken history. See managing market data.

Trading and risk

  • Separate Paper Trades and Live Trades pages, with manual controls and itemized fees, slippage, and funding. See paper trading.
  • Paper is never halted by real-capital safety controls, and paper can't trip a halt.
  • Equal capital slices for live strategies, a per-trade clamp, correlation-aware exposure, and a liquidity guard. See risk controls.

Agents and the app

  • Throughput presets — one dial over AI call volume. See cost controls.
  • An in-app assistant that can guide you around the app, and an attention system with nav badges and a notifications inbox.
  • Routines that post to Discord and take plain-English schedules.

Retired

  • The Memory Bank page and its vector store. Durable learning lives in quant skills.
